This
code shall establish a standard of conduct for all members of
the Collie Club of Georgia, Inc. and shall be adhered to under
penalty of expulsion from the club. The regulations of the American
Kennel Club rules shall be followed where applicable in this code.
A club member who has been place on suspension by the American
Kennel Club or the Collie Club of America, Inc. shall automatically
be placed on suspension by this club for the same period of time.

No member of the Collie Club of Georgia, Inc. shall knowingly
sell a collie to anyone who operates as a commercial source
of animals.

No
member of this club shall knowingly release by sale or other means,
a collie to be offered in a contest as a prize.

Any
collie offered for breeding or sale must be in good condition,
free from communicable diseases, have the immunizations appropriate
for the age of the animal, and be free from any defect that shall
affect its function as a suitable pet or companion.

Any collie used for breeding shall be free from all show disqualifying
hereditary defects.

Only dogs known to be fertile shall be offered at public stud.
Bitches are to be bred only to the stud selected by the owner
of the bitch.

All
advertising is to be honest and factual. Rough and smooth
collies shall be so designated to a prospective buyer. A minimum
advertised price of $100.00 for a stud fee shall be followed
by the club members. No member shall advertise a collie for
less than $100.00.

Every member shall, at all times, whether traveling, at shows,
or at motels, conduct himself/herself in such a manner as
to reflect credit on the dog show game and on Collies in particular.

All
members shall be shown a copy of this Code when joining and by
the act of joining, shall signify their acceptance of this Code
in its entirety.
